My grandparents, WF and Annie Dunning, with their family, came to what is now Boundary County in 1903. Their descendants have been in the local schools for most of the last 106 years.

The first generation started school in the fall of 1903. The last graduated in 1934. Eleven students total.

The second generation started school in 1915-16 and the last graduated in 1963. Nine students total.

The third generation started in 1963 and the last graduated in 1985. Four students total.

The fourth generation started in about 1988 and the last graduated in 2008. Six students total.

The fifth generation started in 2008 and is still attending.

This includes the surnames: Dunning, Skaurud, McPhearson, Slater, Dodson, Morice, Trusdell, Carlson, Frederickson and Reiss.
