Kayaking and Pizza

Having recently moved to Bonners Ferry, my husband and I decided to take a break from working on our new home. We launched our kayaks on the Kootenai River in downtown Bonners Ferry and thoroughly enjoyed a leisurely paddle to Deep Creek. From there we drove the beautiful back road, Lions Den, to Naples.

Having read Kathryn Star Heart's article in the July 22 issue of the Boundary County Digest regarding the Northwoods Tavern, we decided to have a beer there and try out the pizza. In a word, it's a repeat! The pizza was great, loaded with generous portions of yummy toppings stacked high. And, come to find out as we were complimenting the bartender, ours were the first pizzas he had ever made! Keep up the great work! We'll be back.
