With all this emphasis to buy local, I found it kind of sad to read in last week's Digest that the All School Reunion Committee hired a band from Coeur d'Alene, rather than local. I heard the Day Off Band at last year's Fry Foundation Fundraiser. They were great, and all four are members of our community.
