Explore 4-H Afterschool Fun

      Boundary County 4-H Program Coordinator

What opportunities are available to youth and volunteers in Boundary County on Fridays? The answer is Explore 4-H Afterschool Fun! The Explore 4-H Afterschool Fun program will be entering its fifth year starting September 4. This program benefits our youth by giving them quality care that encourages them to be creative and productive. It emphasizes hands-on activities, recreation designed for physical growth and homework assistance.

Programs that will be offered this fall include GPS, fitness, hiking, mentoring, tutoring, reading, art and technology, etc. The program is open to youth grades K-6 as participants and grades 7-12 as mentors/volunteers. Program hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm on Fridays during the school year at the Boundary County Middle School.

Enrollment deadline is August 28. Enrollment forms are available at the Extension Office or online at extension.ag.uidaho.edu/boundary. For additional information, please contact Erika Thiel, 4-H Program Coordinator at the Boundary County Extension Office by calling 267-3235 or e-mail at ethiel@uidaho.edu.
