October 1: Bonners Ferry Men's Cancer Support Group
6pm, Panhandle Health Building.

October 2-3: Annual United Methodist Rummage/ Bake Sale
At 6568 Lincoln St. on October 2 from 9am-4pm and October 3 from 8:30am - 12pm.

October 3: Bonners Ferry Farmers' Market
Bonners Ferry Farmers' Market will hold the annual Harvest Festival featuring the Russ Britt Band and Many Friends from 8am to 1pm.

October 3-8 Coats For Kids Drive
Valley View Elementary School is collecting items for our annual “Coats for Kids” project. Items being collected include coats of all sizes, hats, gloves and even boots. We ask that you make sure they are clean, in good condition and that the coats have working zippers. Donations may be dropped off at Valley View School starting now through October 8. These items will be available for pickup by families in need starting October 12.

October 3 and 4: Northwest Montana Veteran's Stand Down 2009
Northwest Montana Veteran's Stand Down 2009 Honoring All Veterans will be held at VFW Post #1548 at 110 West 2nd Street in Libby, MT at 9am. 406-250-0698

October 5: County Commission
County Commission will meet at 9am. www.boundarycountyid.org

October 5: Kootenai Kloggers
Kootenai Kloggers Square Dance classes will be at 7pm at Memorial Hall at the fairgrounds. First two free. 267-5695

October 6: County Commission
County Commission will meet at 9am. www.boundarycountyid.org

October 6: Bonners Ferry City Council
Bonners Ferry City Council will meet at 7pm at City Hall.

October 7: Story Time
Story Time will be held at the Library at 10:30am and 1:30pm featuring the theme of "wolves."

October 8: Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce
Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce will hold a business alliance workshop from 8am to 10am at Memorial Hall at the fairgrounds. 208-818-7498

October 10: Second Chance Animal Adoption
Second Chance Animal Adoption will sponsor "Murder Mystery on the High Seas" at the Bonners Ferry Fire Hall at 6pm. 208- 946-9076

October 10: Chess Tournament
A Chess Tournament to raise money for the Phoenix Project will be held at the Bonners Ferry Fire Hall. 208-946-9451

October 11: The Annual Farmers' Market Fall Meeting and Potluck
The Annual Farmers' Market Fall Meeting and Potluck will be held at 3:30pm at the Visitor Center to nominate officers for next season.
