Sally Ann Thompson

Sally Ann Thompson, 70, passed away into the hands of the Lord on Saturday, December 5, 2009.

Sally was born June 6, 1939 in Sandpoint, ID as Sally Ann Coulson. Her parents were Richard and Agnes Coulson. Raised in both Sandpoint and Clark Fork, she moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1964. As assistant registrar for many years at North Idaho College, her greatest joy was her love for the students. Her hobbies included reading, feeding the birds, loving her cats (Chloe and Callie) and spending time with her grandchildren. She resided in Hayden, ID for 34 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coeur d'Alene.

Sally is preceded in death by her husband Sam A. Thompson. She is survived by her children Richard Bevans (Vida), Sandy Vernon and Shelly Erckenbrack (Danny). Her sister Helen Shackelford (Bob) of Hayden Idaho and brother Ron Coulson of Wenatchee. Her grandchildren Glenn, Luke, Chanelle, Amber, Jordan, Nathaniel and Emma loved her immensely. We will always love our friend, mother, sister and grandmother.

Memorial services will be at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Idaho at 1pm on Friday, December 11, 2009.
