DIV ALIGN="justify">The KVRI Forestry Sub-committee will meet on January 15, 2010 at 9am at the Boundary County Extension Office.

At the November KVRI meeting, the Board determined it would be beneficial to form a Forestry Committee to consider opportunities to work with the Forest Service to possibly develop projects on the Bonners Ferry District. This will be our first meeting to begin discussions and determine how we might proceed.

In preparation -- I thought it'd be good to have a map of the B.F. District -- with the designations provided by the Idaho Roadless Rule (IRR); the ability to add habitat designations (Griz. Bears, bull trout, caribou, lynx, or whatever is applicable to management ability) & then a discussion with the group about a potential path forward.
