Tana Schneider became a licensed private pilot on Saturday, August 15, 2010. Tana was one of the local EAA youth flight scholarship recipients. Tana graduated in 2010 from the Bonners Ferry high school and has been working as a lifeguard at the pool this summer. She has persevered at attaining her pilot license. Her whole family showed up at the airport after she finished her test to celebrate with her. Her first passenger was her mom, Darlene whom she took flying Monday evening. Tana plans to attend college this fall. What an accomplishment! Good work Tana.
