Bonners Ferry Will Have Their Theater

Last night at their City Council Meeting, Council voted 2 in favor and 1 against the rezoning on Ash Street that will make it possible for the Community Fellowship Church to become Bonners Ferry's first official venue for live theater, music, comedy, independent film, you name it.

The council room was packed with supporters, some of whom had to stand at the back. This was a real show of support and I can't thank you enough for coming out on a cold, dark night. Thank you.

The church is going to continue on in their location until they are finished with their new digs up on the South Hill, so now's my time to meet with anyone and everyone who wants to give me input into how this can be the best little playhouse in the northwest (or something like that). I'm making phone calls, but if you would like to put your 2 cents in, call me. I'm going to create a wish list and see what I can do.

There will be an upcoming contest called "Name Your Community Theater." There's going to be an awesome prize for the winner.
