Donations Provide Special Cleaning Carts for Restorium

Boundary County residents have always been committed to the welfare of its senior citizens through the county-owned and managed Community Restorium, which has helped meet the needs of seniors not capable of completely independent living yet who do not need continuous skilled care.

Over the years, local organizations have made concerted efforts through donations and grants to make life at the Restorium comfortable and safe for those who live there.

Thanks to the donations of the Restorium, Friends of the Restorium and the Bonners Ferry Rotary Club, residents at the facility can now feel even more secure. The organizations donated a combined $1,230 to purchase special locking cleaning carts to meet state requirements to ensure that Restorium residents do not accidently get into the carts and drink cleaning chemicals.

The Rotary and the Restorium both donated $400, while Friends of the Restorium contributed $430.
