NIBCA Contributes Scholarship Through NIC Foundation

The North Idaho Building Contractors Association presented awards recently to the first recipients of the scholarship established by the NIBCA through the North Idaho College Foundation.

Evan Walker, a first-year carpentry student from Coeur d'Alene, received $500

Nicholas Bandy, a second-year carpentry management student from Sandpoint, also received $500.

"I am honored to serve as NIBCA president during the awarding of these first NIBCA scholarships to students of NIC," said NIBCA President Bill Johnson of Johnson Custom Homes, Inc. "Nicholas and Evan are outstanding young men and students committed to their studies in trades and industry. The building industry will benefit from the skills and knowledge they have acquired and I wish them success in their respective endeavors."
