Riverside Reveals the 2010 Camaro

Amid a fanfare reception and an enthusiastic audience, Riverside Auto unveiled the 2010 Camaro on the evening of May 20.

Wendy Hawks, of Riverside Auto, said, "Tonight is about unveiling the automobile, wine, hors d'oeuvres and just having a good time. We sent out invitations, advertised in the newspaper and invited the Rod Bender Car Club."

The 2010 Camaro Was Unveiled Before An Eager Audience Of Car Lovers.

Anticipation was high in the Riverside show room as community members from all walks of life gathered around the canvas-covered car to chat with fellow car enthusiasts. Called "the 21st Century Sports Car" by the industry and lauded for its sharp looks as well as its "revolutionary and evolutionary design," the crowd anxiously awaited the moment when the car would be revealed for the first time to the general public in Bonners Ferry.

"This car is a new standard for performance and refinement," said Tim Maier, sales associate. "It has the performance and the image that Camaro fans demand, plus it has the advanced technology and safety features that enhance the driving experience for others. "

At 6:15 p.m., Wendy gathered everyone together and the audience grew attentive as each member of the Riverside sales team came forward to discuss particular features of the car. The men gingerly lifted the canvas, revealing an incredibly shiny, black Camaro to the admiring audience. The hood was lifted, the doors were opened, and everyone was invited to examine the car and discuss its contemporary design. One person exclaimed, "Now that's what I'm talkin' about!" while another good naturedly said, "Honey, can I have this for my birthday present?"

Wendy was very pleased with the event and the reception the car received.

"At Riverside, it's still business as usual" she said. "Even with the uncertainty of the manufacturers, we are still here and we plan to stay."
