Tip-A-Cop Event Scheduled At Kootenai River Inn
|
|
Local Law Enforcement Officers will once again be helping Idaho Special Olympics Athletes with the Tip-A-Cop event scheduled on Monday June 15th at the Kootenai River Inn from 5-9pm. This is a fun event that we encourage you to support by bringing your family, friends or co-workers down to the Kootenai River Inn for dinner. Local law enforcement officers will be waiting tables (protect & SERVE) in an attempt to raise tips and donations that will all go to Idaho Special Olympics programs.
Law Enforcement Officers have been considered the Guardians of the Flame for the Special Olympics Torch, and work around the world at raising funds and awareness for this great program and fine Athletes. Bonners Ferry has an active local Special Olympics team that competes in snowshoe events, and other training and fun events throughout the year. Gary and Barb Moehler have been the coaches of our local Athletes, and the Bonners Ferry Rotary Team purchased new winter team jackets for the Athletes this last winter.
The Kootenai River Inn was the first restaurant in the State to have a Tip-A-Cop program which started several years ago, we appreciate their continued support of law enforcement and the Special Olympic Athletes.
Please show your support and plan on attending the Tip-A-Cop event on Monday June 15th from 5-8pm
