All Summer: Teen Clothing Drive
Quest House Youth Ministries will be collecting new and gently used clothing for teens starting now until the beginning of next school year. We are looking for boys' and girls' clothes in all styles and sizes for teenagers. All clothing will be given away at no cost to local teens in the community who are in need of new clothes for school. If you have clothes to donate, please feel free to drop them off at the Springs of Living Water Free Methodist Church located at 6957 LaBrosse Road or call 610-1116 to have your donation picked up.
July 15: All School Reunion Registration Deadline
It's Boundary County's Community Homecoming! Everyone is Welcome! The reunion is open to everyone who ever attended school in Boundary County, whether they graduated high school or not. Visit

July 15: Annual Teddy Bear Picnic Story Time at the Library
We will be outside in the library park at regular story time hours of 10:30am and 1:30 pm. the book theme will be Summer Fun. You may bring your teddy along and don't forget to wear sunscreen! We will have fun summer activities (instead of a craft) and picnic treats following the stories.
July 16: Spotted Knapweed Bio Control Workshop and Field Day
The workshop, presented by Paul Brusven, NPBC Coordinator, will begin at 9am at the Extension Office. The workshop is very informal and includes PowerPoint Presentations and field site demonstrations. Herbicide re-certification credits will be made available. July 16: "Be Here Now" Teen Event
The Phoenix Project presents the first annual July luau at the fairgrounds from 4pm to 8pm. There will be a barbecue, music, door prizes and fun. There will also be prizes for the best Hawaiian outfits, so dress up and show your aloha spirit. This event is FREE for all teenagers. For information, call Robin at 946-6514.
July 17 and July 24: Quilting Class
Terrie Kralik will be presenting a Quilt As You Go quilting class on two consecutive Fridays at Callie's Niche from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Call Terrie at 946-9706 for more information.
July 20: KVRI Meeting
Meeting begins at 7 pm at the Boundary County Extension Office.
July 22: Pressure Canning Class
Basics of food preservation using a pressure canner. Class will be held at the Extension Office from 10am to 2pm and will cost $15. For more information and registration, call the Extension Office at 267-3235.
July 23: Camp Cloverbud
This one-day camp is free to Cloverbud members from five to nine years old. Camp will be held from 9am to 2pm at Snow Creek Pond. Registration is due by July 17. Call the Extension Office at 267-3235 for registration information.
July 23: Free Food Give-Away
Come pick up high quality FREE FOOD at Trinity Lutheran Church (6784 Cody St.) from 10am to 12pm. There will be fresh produce, breads, and more. All who need food are welcome; there are no special qualifications to receive food. Please bring boxes to carry your food. Please share news about this event with your neighbors and all who might be in need of fresh food. Food will be distributed until supply runs out. Special thanks go out to the Bonner-Boundary Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for sponsoring this event and to Trinity Lutheran Church for graciously providing a space for the food distribution.
July 25: Huckleberry Pancake Breakfast at the Airport
We are having a huckleberry pancake breakfast from 8am to 10:30am at the Boundary County Airport (65S). It's RV Day and all RV pilots will receive free breakfast!
July 26 to 30: Boundary Church of Christ Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School will be held at Boundary Church of Christ located at 6957 Evergreen Street from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. With the theme of "All Roads Lead to Rome," Vacation Bible School is for children ages 4 to 12. Call 267-2731 to register.
July 28: BF Swish Registration Deadline

July 30: Healthy Recipes Using Garden Vegetables
Not sure how to use all the vegetables in your garden? Linda will present healthy recipes for your garden vegetables. Samples of some recipes will also be available. The instructor will be Linda Wiley, University of Idaho Extension Nutrition Program, and the workshop will be from 10am to 12 noon at the GROW! Community Garden on Buchanan Street. July 31: Copeland School Reunion
