Approximately 900 tickets remain for the chance to win this year's $300,000 grand prize home through the 16th annual North Idaho College Really BIG Raffle.
This year's house, built by students in the NIC carpentry program, is located in the Montrose neighborhood at 1909 Teanaway Drive in Post Falls. The house includes more than 1,900 finished square feet of living area with three bedrooms, two baths and a full unfinished basement. Additional prizes include a $20,000 car, a $10,000 boat, a $3,500 travel package and a $2,000 shopping spree. Winners can apply cash value of these prizes to the purchase of their choice.
The drawing will be held July 8 at the Fort Sherman Park on NIC's main campus. Winners need not be present to win any of the major prizes.
Only 5,000 tickets are sold at $100 each.
The raffle has sold out for 15 consecutive years. Proceeds from the Really BIG Raffle are used to fund scholarships, update classroom technology, support programs and encourage outstanding instruction at North Idaho College.
Tickets are available at ticket outlets across North Idaho, including area Super 1 Foods, Steins IGA and Trading Company Stores. Idaho residents can also purchase online or charge by phone.
