Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder coming to Bonners Ferry

Fourteen time Grammy Award winner Ricky Skaggs and his band Kentucky Thunder, are coming to Bonners Ferry this Friday evening, August 7, 2009. The concert is hosted by Pastor Garrett Graupner and Mountain Springs Church of Bonners Ferry, and is absolutely free to the public.

Ricky is widely known as a Country music star and is also affectionately known as Bluegrass Music's official ambassador. Kentucky Thunder is a supremely talented group of musicians and singers, having won 6 Grammy Awards themselves.

The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. on the soccer field adjacent to the Boundary County Fairgrounds. Seating will be on the lawn and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for comfort.

"Border Bob" will be serving his $5.00 smoked beef sandwiches beginning at 5:00 p.m.
