Good news for trap shooters in Boundary County! Governor Brad Little’s office approved the reopening of the club under the conditions of safety guidelines, providing that our local law enforcement was in agreement. Today Sheriff Dave Kramer approved the opening of the club granting the necessary permissions to reopen. Bonners Ferry Gun Club will open to shoot at 10am, May 9 and 10.

In light of the current situation, the Bonners Ferry Gun Club will follow the guidelines as outlined by the state. These include staying at least 6 feet apart from others at the range, no shaking of hands and practicing good hygiene. The club asks that there be a staggered opening of no more than 10 people at a time.

Remember, stay home if you are sick, stay home if you are vulnerable due to age and/or preexisting conditions, wear face masks if you feel you need to in public, and practice good hygiene.

And as Coach Lonny Jelinek says… shoot safe, keep your powder dry, and stay healthy!
